Aminé, la energía de la nueva generación

Hay una camada de raperos de estos últimos 5/7 años que realmente tiene mucho talento, pero su aporte más grande fue el de cambiar la discursiva del hip hop y reinventar el sonido. Cada unx con su identidad, con su búsqueda y su concepto. Aminé es parte de esa generación y en el show que presencié lo dejó bien claro.

De principio a fin, la energía fue arrolladora. Un hit atrás de otro en un show de un poco más de una hora en donde no hubo lugar para dudar ni para tomarse un respiro. El nacido en Woodlawn, se comió el escenario y tuvo a la gente prendida con una lista temas contundente, en donde repasó cada momento de su ascendente carrera.

Hace rato que no voy a un vivo con la gente tan prendida, la interacción de él con su audiencia y la conexión que tuvieron durante lo que duró el espectáculo fue de otro planeta. Generoso, atento y agradecido, Aminé se aseguró una vuelta a una venue más grande, no solo en Copenhagen sino en el resto de Europa.

Sobre su propuesta, ya está todo muy claro, su personalidad habla por si sola, puro carisma, agite pero también profundidad e introspección. La habilidad para explorar pero también para sacar sentimientos afuera, es algo para destacar de este pibe al que no le importa ir contra la narrativa tradicional de un género que por mucho tiempo fue hermético en cuanto a expresar las cosas que realmente le pasaban. Su sonido, tan diverso y colorido como él, te puede clavar un rap al medio, un trap para romper todo, un house para bailar y cualquier otra cosa que te levante de tu asiento.

Sin dudas, una de las propuestas más frescas que tiene hoy la escena del rap norteamericano, y que por suerte, sigue creciendo y conquistando lugares.

There is a select group of rappers from these last 5/7 years who have a lot of talent, but their greatest contribution was to change the discourse of hip hop and reinvent the sound. Each one with its identity, with its search and its concept. Aminé is part of that generation and he made his point in last night’s show.

From start to finish, the energy was overwhelming. One hit after another in a show where there was no room for doubt or to take a breath. The Woodlawn born and raised conquered the stage and had the people on fire with a forceful list of tracks, in which he revisited every moment of his rising career.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a live show with people so turned on. His interaction with the audience and the connection they had during the show was from another planet. Generous, attentive and grateful, Aminé secured a return to a bigger venue, not only in Copenhagen but in the rest of Europe.

His personality speaks for itself, pure charisma and high energy but also depth and introspection. The ability to explore and to get feelings out is something to highlight about this guy who doesn’t mind going against the traditional narrative of a genre that for a long time was hermetic in terms of expressing the things that happened to them. His sound, as diverse and colorful as he is, can nail you a rap, a trap to break everything, a house to dance to, and anything else that gets you out of your seat.

Undoubtedly, one of the freshest proposals that the American rap scene has today, and luckily, it will continue growing and conquering places.
